"Dr. Amanda and Dr. Houk really do combine and make a unique office setting like no other. As a couple they have been together since they were young. Dr. Houk knew Dr. Amanda was who he wanted to marry when he was only in the 2nd grade. They have overcome many obsticals: born at HMH into very hardworking yet lower income families, becoming 1st generations to graduate college, graduate and professional school. Over the years they worked together at the Office of Development at Morehead States, Wal-Mart Lexington, and even WMKY radio station. They united honor society and club efforts during graduate/medical school to help provide more benefits to others in the Lexington comunity. They continued collaborative efforts working at different locations in Indianapolis. Finally, they chose to return to their roots and open up a joint practice in 2008 right here in Elizabethtown, KY. Wow what an life journey!"
